Submission of Abstracts
Abstract Guidelines
The abstract should be informative, and contain the study's scientific objectives (unless given in the title); a brief statement of methods, a summary of the results obtained, and a statement of the conclusions. Abstract length should be no more than one page of A4 or Letter format (400 words or less). The abstract must contain the title, author(s), and the affiliation(s) with address(es) as a heading. The key words from the abstract must be included at the end of the abstract. The name of the presenting author should be indicated in all capitals. The paper presenter must be a registered conference participant. Abstracts must be submitted in English. Tables and figures are not permitted within the space of the abstract. Abstracts must be received by February 29, 2008 by session coordinators. Refer to abstract template for detailed formatting.
Abstracts are only submitted for the purpose of Asian Wetlands Symposium Conference program scheduling and will not be published separately. The Organizing Committee will confirm receiving your abstract via e-mail within three business days of submission. Authors will be notified of paper acceptance for the conference program by March 31, 2008.
PowerPoint presentations and full papers must be sent to the conference secretariat before the Asian Wetland Symposium. PowerPoint presentations are due by 15 May 2008. Full papers are due by 31 May 2008. This will allow for translation.
To submit an abstract, download the Abstract Instructions and Template, prepare your abstract and e-mail it as an attached file to the AWS Secretariat at aws2008@iucn.org.vn also please send a copy to the coordinator of the workshop theme.
